On the opposite side of the Blue Hole you will find Coral Cave which is a fantastic huge semi-circular cavern. This is a lovely pretty dive, great for photographers.
Before the cave are some magnificent vertical walls and some coral gardens to be seen with many different types of fish. Hermit crabs, scorpion fish, wrasses, parrots, bream and all kind of starfish are often seen near the walls. Safe and open this is the ultimate in blue water cave diving. Average depth is 35 meters for this dive. The average visibility is 10-20 metres and access to the dive site is by shore. One needs a torch to see the corals in their beautiful colours. Divers will be accompanied also by a number of different fish such as amberjack, groupers, anemones, urchins, virgin lace, damselfish and marine goldfish. If you’re lucky, you will see some sea horses which are often seen in this cave. These corals are very fragile, in fact they can be damaged simply by the expelled air of the divers! Great care should be kept for buoyancy so as not to murk the water.
